The rapid progress in the development of artificial intelligence technology that we have seen in recent years has also led to growing discussion about the impact of this phenomenon on the development of information architecture and UX design, as well as the practical applications of intelligent technologies in the design of information services and mobile applications, and in the use and reception of intelligent functionalities by users. The aim of this paper is to analyze and assess the intensity and directions of these changes and to identify the main areas of interaction, emerging opportunities, and threats. These findings are based on a bibliometric analysis of literature on the subject registered in the Scopus database, published in the last five years, and a critical analysis of the content of selected publications aimed at identifying research issues and the positions of researchers presented in this literature.
