The Institute of Information Sciences at the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków invites you to take part in the fourth edition of the academic conference: Information Architecture as an Academic Discipline (AIDA), under the main theme ‘AI versus IA – Information Architecture in the Age of Algorithms’.
Nature of the event
The academic conference ‘Information Architecture as an Academic Discipline’ (AIDA 4), organised on 11–12 June 2024 by the Institute of Information Sciences at UKEN in Kraków, is an event that bridges the worlds of academia and the digital industry. It provided a forum for dialogue between representatives of academic institutions, researchers, experts in user experience (UX) and visual communication, as well as information service designers (from the UX/HCI sector), staff from interactive agencies, start-up founders and students. The event aimed to bring together people interested in designing user-friendly, useful and comprehensible information ecosystems.
Who is it for?
Representatives of institutes and centres offering degree programmes, specialisations and courses in the fields of information architecture, usability, visual communication and information design with a focus on user experience (UX) have been invited to attend the conference, experts specialising in the use of artificial intelligence in the design of information spaces; representatives of companies designing websites and information systems in the UX/HCI sector; staff at interactive agencies; start-up founders; students on degree programmes related to the conference’s themes; and anyone interested in creating useful, understandable and enjoyable information ecosystems using artificial intelligence.
