We invite you to a workshop on designing services that are accessible to a diverse range of customers and users. The aim of the workshop is to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills needed to design inclusive, user-friendly and functional services.
The workshop will be a unique opportunity to:
- learn about tools and practices for designing services that meet the needs of a diverse group of users;
- understand the diverse needs of users, using examples of target groups with different needs, skills and requirements;
- exchange experiences and meet others interested in service design, which we hope will lead to new, innovative solutions.
During the workshops, we will discuss key aspects of the service design process, including:
- User needs analysis – how to effectively research and identify the needs of different groups using the library;
- Creating services tailored to different contexts – how to design services that are flexible and adaptable to a variety of user requirements;
- The use of technology and innovation – how new technologies can support the development of modern library services.
Who is it for?
The workshops are aimed at anyone interested in creating modern, accessible and effective services. We particularly welcome library staff. Required knowledge and skills: curiosity and commitment; knowledge of service design is NOT required.
