‘Metaphor in Graphic Design: A Study of My Artistic Work’ is a presentation exploring the role of mental shortcuts, symbols and associations in logo design. Drawing on my own work, I demonstrate how graphic form can not only identify but also narrate, suggest meanings and construct a specific message. I analyse the process of logo creation, from the initial idea and interpretation of the theme, through the selection of shape, colour and composition, to the final visual effect. The presentation demonstrates how metaphor in visual identity becomes a tool for communication, thanks to which a graphic logo gains its own individual character and impact.
