Quality and Usability Evaluation af the Mobile Websites of Selected Polish Academic Libraries

Prevalence of the Internet and smartphones in everyday life, influenced to make institutional websites to work properly on mobile devices. The main purpose of the study was to define level of adaptation of the selected academic libraries mobile websites to use on mobile devices (smartphone, tablet). In this purpose author has used a quality-heuristic evaluation method based on the author’s research form. The resaults of the study shows that the selected websites fulfill, mostly, their tasks, but there is not an ideal solution. Received results may be helpful during the later analysis or construction of next library library mobile websites.
