Każda reprezentacja jest interpretacją – w stronę hermeneutycznej koncepcji architektury informacji

The aim of this paper is to define the role of interpretation in information architecture, both from the point of view of the design of information spaces and the user experience. The starting point for considerations is the phenomenological approach to information architecture and the concept of digital hermeneutics. The main goal of Information architecture is the study and design of digital information spaces and the perception of these spaces is determined by conceptual construct user – content – context. In that perspective, the main goal of this paper is to establish a theoretical framework for information architecture problems, where hermeneutical approach can be applied.

Celem referatu jest próba określenia roli interpretacji w architekturze informacji zarówno z punktu widzenia projektowania przestrzeni informacyjnych, jak i interakcji użytkownika z systemem informacyjnym. Punktem wyjścia rozważań jest fenomenologiczna interpretacja organizacji przestrzeni informacyjnej z wykorzystaniem technologii informacyjnych oraz koncepcja cyfrowej hermeneutyki. Przyjęto założenie, że celem architektury informacji jest badanie i projektowanie przestrzeni informacyjnych w środowisku cyfrowym oraz że postrzeganie tej przestrzeni jest zdeterminowane konstruktem pojęciowym użytkownik – zawartość – kontekst. W tak naszkicowanej perspektywie, celem badań jest wskazanie ram teoretycznych dla problemów badawczych architektury informacji, w których zastosowanie ma ujęcie hermeneutyczne.
