Prevalence of the Internet and smartphones in everyday life, influenced to make institutional websites to work properly on mobile devices. The main purpose of the study was to define level of adaptation of the selected academic libraries mobile websites to use on mobile devices (smartphone, tablet). In this purpose author has used a quality-heuristic evaluation method based on the author’s research form. The resaults of the study shows that the selected websites fulfill, mostly, their tasks, but there is not an ideal solution. Received results may be helpful during the later analysis or construction of next library library mobile websites.
Powszechność internetu oraz smartfonów w codziennym życiu, wpłynęła na konieczność dostosowania serwisów internetowych instytucji do działania na urządzeniach mobilnych. Głównym celem badań było określenie stopnia dostosowania serwisów mobilnych wybranych bibliotek akademickich do obsługi na urządzeniach mobilnych (smartfon, tablet). Ponadto oceniono funkcjonalność oferowanych treści i elementów architektury informacji badanych serwisów. W tym celu zastosowano jakościowo-heurystyczną metodę oceny opartą o autorski formularz badawczy. Stwierdzono, że wybrane serwisy spełniają, w większości, swoją rolę, jednak żaden nie jest wolny od wad. Otrzymane w rezultacie wyniki mogą być pomocne podczas późniejszej analizy lub budowy kolejnych serwisów mobilnych bibliotek.
